Investors in Integral Technologies have endured much over the past year: expected movements failed to appear; corporate silence ruled the day; and attempts to uncover added insights were met by firewalls.


Sounds like another day as a valued “stakeholder” in this company? Read on!


First, the bad news: Unfortunately, on the surface, these comments are all too true. And the good news? Fortunately, forces behind the scene in Bellingham and Jasper have vested interests in seeing that ElectriPlast becomes a success story commensurate with its great potential. After all, corporate officers and other shareholders in both locales, around the country and overseas are counting on ElectriPlast to make it big. Even so, as one of thousands of shareholders who have pursued this dream for the last decade, I am frustrated with the manner with which Integral has managed our company this past year.


You tell ‘em, Cool Hand Luke!

One of management’s biggest faults, from my point of view, is their lack of communication with shareholders. Or to quote a character in the 1967 film, Cool Hand Luke, “What we got here is... failure to communicate.” Other nanocap companies send out periodic outdates, why can’t Integral Technologies? I know that they aren’t supposed to encourage shareholders, but good communication is a central pillar to strong corporate management. A ‘failure to communicate’ is a failure of leadership. This is Corporate Management 101!

I could cite examples from what I have seen during the past year, but that wouldn’t be productive. Suffice it to say that opportunities and targets were missed, and that we deviated far from the game-plan announced two years ago. The stock price has dropped three-fold and the company has chosen to ignore this—failing, to the dismay of shareholders, to even mention this fact. Worse yet, they have failed to look at what we’d become.

So, is there any light at the end of the tunnel? Is there any hope? Quite frankly, the answer to these questions is a resounding YES.


Hope Springs Eternal…

Well, I noted earlier that there is light at the end of the tunnel. What does that mean? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to note that Jasper Rubber Company (JARCO) has made significant progress in changing the direction of our company. More than pulling its weight, more than making headway, JARCO is involved in coordinating prospective deals with a number of companies, with a focus on recouping their investment and building up ElectriPlast as a cornerstone of their future. To the extent that they are successful, so are the rest of us.

Tom Aisenbrey announced recently that a military contractor was developing products based on ElectriPlast. While this announcement wasn’t news to some, the timing of the statement placed the prospect of production closer by six months or more. There was even mention of eventual sales of ElectriPlast-based products taking place this year.

While you mull that over, I offer this. JARCO’s sales force has been working diligently for the past year, according to the 20 November 2007 press release. But other than that press release, Integral has not revealed any additional information on JARCO’s sales marketing progress to we shareholders. To Integral’s credit, however, "maybe" this was an effort to keep expectations lowered while the real work took place behind the scenes. Perhaps it was to screen from public scrutiny the prospective companies involved that might have surfaced.

As a friend of mine often tells me: STEADY! Steady! It’s hard being patient. It is worse being a long-suffering ITKG investor, but it will be pure joy when we can attach the label of “success” to this journey.

Despite the he-said, she-said taking place behind the scenes, the reality remains the same. JARCO has our best interest in hand—primarily because it coincides with their best interest. Despite the gaffs and missteps that occurred at Bellingham, JARCO will make a success of ElectriPlast still. As a direct result, our vastly eroded fortunes will experience resurgence, and beyond that the reality, the potential, the possibilities surrounding ElectriPlast will become known. Heck, you might soon end up purchasing a product based on this IP. That will be the day when you can hold up your worn and torn shares, and know that your gut belief in the product and the vision has been realized.

So, yes, it has been a painful ride, but methinks the long ride is almost over, though without empirical proof of success in hand, I sincerely believe that that destination is at hand.
